The Best Cat Litter Boxes

I’ve research  quite a few cat littler boxes, and found the best cat litter boxes and I want to share them with you. The reason is simply for the fact that we have 3 cats, my wife is pregnant and I have a bad back. Cleaning the cat litter box is not recommended for pregnant women, due to the bacteria in the fecal matter, and Cleaning several cat boxes a day for me can sometimes be painful with my back issues.

So started my research for the best self cleaning cat litter box available. I’ve seen the Litter Genie and read the reviews, not a good litter box in my opinion. I’ve used a Litter maid but the poop gets caught on the rake. It’s OK, but it’s not the greatest and the little pan it scoops into can fill up and overflow onto the floor.

My pick for the best litter box of all is the Litter Robot Self Cleaning Litter Box, which I bought for my home for my birthday present to me. It’s a great self cleaning litter box and I highly recommend it. The poop doesn’t get stuck anywhere, it’s super easy to clean, and it saves me money on cat litter each month.

Once a month or every two months I take the ball of the Litter robot outside and hose it down and then spray it with Anti-Icky Poo, and let it dry.  This helps keep the Litter Robot from smelling, and it keeps it fresh and clean smelling for the cats.

I highly recommend the litter Robot to everyone I know who has a cat. I’m including a couple of videos, and a link to Amazon, as you can buy one for about $50-$100 cheaper than from their website, brand new and “used” in the original packaging.
